Michele Price

Hello, My name is Michele Price, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Clinical Supervisor registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling. With over 15 years of experience, I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, adults and families. My professional background includes leadership roles such as Clinical Program Manager for Counseling Services, Outpatient Services, Crisis Services, Intensive In-home Services and Therapeutic Day Treatment Services. My counseling experience has primarily been within community mental health settings, allowing me to serve a diverse population with varied needs. My therapeutic approach is primarily rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I find CBT to be particularly effective due to the accessibility, adaptability to individual needs, and evidenced based support. While CBT is my primary modality, I integrate techniques from other models as needed to best serve my clients. My specialized training includes Trauma Focused CBT, Attachment-Based Family Therapy (ABFT), Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach (A-CRA), Al's Pals, and the administration of the K-SADS.
